Hey Guys, Great show Next time Sir Billy Harrigan is on can you ask him why.
- Players are always offside from all restarts? Some players are 3 metres offside yet 4 match officials don't see it!!!!
- Players don't need to touch the ball when playing it? 50% of play the balls are tunnel balls!!!!!
- Every time the ball is dropped it's a knock on? Geez benefit of the doubt here and let the game flow!!!
- Refs talk to players on a first name basis? What's wrong with the number on his back!!!!
- Refs need to issue multiply warnings before taking action? Gee I wish my parents were this lenient when I was growing up!!!
Also lets get rid of the stripping rule completely and make it, that if you can steal it you deserve it, as we are breeding a generation of babies who don't take responsibility for their actions. e.g. not hanging on to the ball tight enough, you lose it, you and your team suffer.
Finally some words of wisdom for the .... who's running the league.... cut all teams back to 15 players, and make the interchange 12 again, this will save the clubs at least a couple of hundred thousand dollars, making it more financially viable and return the game to a war of attrition based on fatigue like we all loved in the old days and which has been lost to a large degree since the move to 17 players and interchange.
