I've just been listening and agree that it is necessary to play everybody twice in a season to be fair. Another plus is that like in the good old days the gate takings can be shared fairly. That way if it is a fine day in March and team A get a crowd of 22,000 and it is a bitterly cold rainy day in August for the return match and Team B get a crowd of 8000 there is no inequality in the dollars earned by the two clubs who have entertained.Only commonsense in these days of big business.
